THE INTENTIONAL PARENT
ABOUT MZAZI-IP

Why Mzazi-IP exists

To empower and support parents to faithfully play their custodial role over their children as God’s gifts. Parents are to steward their children in the fear of God therefore fulfilling their God-given mandate. This role includes protecting children/youth from vices that endanger them. Presently, threats such as the sexualization agenda, invasion of culture that is foreign to both our Christian and African values. Parents are also challenged resource-wise and battered by own challenges of vulnerability. God’s aim in parenting is to raise them as godly seed.

Many men and women are battling sexual confusion impacted negatively by sexual and relational brokenness. We are here for you. Some are married and yet many more are yet to be married. Majority of people are wounded by relational brokenness that define dysfunctional families; divorce, separation, absentee fathers, overbearing mothers, rebellious and wayward children, death of loved ones, incest and many other realities that leave trauma as the experience of many in our society.

Majority of the people are wounded and broken. Broken people break other people. These soul wounds bleed on others. The next generation (children & youth) is left vulnerable to those with ill intent to sway and corrupt their ways. Corruption especially of a sexual nature attracts God’s wrath as seen in Genesis 19 and Numbers 25. King David’s adulterous relationship with Bathsheba (Uriah’s wife) brought irreparable damage to his family. The consequences were dire. Many lives were lost unnecessarily. After he repented in Psalm 51, there was reprieve. But the consequences continued across his generations. God is seeking to bring healing, restoration and alignment for those who are seeking help.

The extent of societal brokenness is evident in social statistics, but intentional action can help restore families and protect children:

Globally, 73M abortions occur annually

In Kenya, infidelity threatens marriages, with 35% of men and 19% of women admitting to extramarital sex.

70% of Kenyan households are led by married couples, while 38% are female-led.

Despite LGBTQ+ advocacy, over 80% of Kenyans oppose same-sex unions, with 90% believing homosexuality should not be allowed.

Suicide was the third leading cause of death among 15-29-year-olds in 2021, largely in low- and middle-income countries. Sexualization of children leads to mental health issues, drug abuse, and suicide.

Pornography and over-sexualization harm relationships, marriages, and families, reducing intimacy and emotional connection.

Betting addiction among youth is fueled by societal sexualization.

Uzao Ltd creates safe spaces for parents (Mzazi) and future parents (Uzao Gen Next) to discuss these issues. We collaborate to rescue children from sexualization, grooming, and harmful ideologies, ensuring their safety through equipping, prayer, partnerships, and resource mobilization. We support those struggling with sexual and relational brokenness, building strong socio-economic structures to advance God’s Kingdom. Our mission is to stop harmful influences and protect children. Jesus offers the path to restoration, and we must act to safeguard the next generation.
