Uzao serves as a resource platform for Parents and future parents from diverse denominations across the nations. Uzao addresses the needs of those who are relationally and sexually broken across different generations creating pathways for healing, evangelism, discipleship, and relationship building to strengthen families.
With a shared commitment to protect children and youth from atrocities meted upon them Uzao launched MZAZI-THE INTENTIONAL PARENT that stands as a beacon of Hope. We believe that Empowered Parents Transform Communities. Uzao activities are centered on Prayer, Advocacy, Community Mobilization for parents and future parents and Leadership Development.
Through effective networking Uzao generates invaluable insights into the challenges facing parents and families in general and together seeking effective strategies to cascade biblical values to the next generation (Uzao Gen Next).
By empowering parents, nurturing Christ-like children and youth, promoting ethical leadership Uzao aims to nurture strong families and leaders who live out what it means to be a people under God’s rule on earth.
There is a deliberate push to mainstream Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in African schools and pressure governments into treaties worse than colonialism. This agenda promotes LGBTQ+, prostitution, paedophilia, sodomy, and abortion, with 73 million abortions occurring annually.
Exposure to these ideologies leads to truancy, addiction, suicide, teenage delinquency, and mental health issues. Broken parents also contribute to these societal ills, necessitating true repentance for national healing (Ps 33:12).
This is cultural imperialism at its worst, as governments, media, and schools are coerced into compliance in exchange for aid. The ultimate goal is to legalize child exploitation while parents remain distracted and uninformed. As a result, schools have become recruitment centers for these destructive agendas.
The impact is devastating. In April 2023, a school in Kajiado County closed due to lesbianism, highlighting the growing crisis. This has fueled suicide, drug addiction, crime, and depression among youth.
The Supreme Court of Kenya's ruling on February 24, 2023, allowing the registration of pro-homosexual associations, further endangers children and invites God’s wrath (Romans 1). Kenyans, rooted in faith, overwhelmingly reject homosexuality as deviant behavior.
Beyond LGBTQ+ issues, parents also face economic and social struggles, along with the challenge of raising disciplined children while preserving African family values.
Uzao Ltd has developed two biblical and redemptive initiatives:
MZAZI-IP (The Intentional Parent): A grassroots movement empowering parents to fulfill their custodial roles effectively. It equips them with knowledge and tools to raise godly, engaged and committed children protecting them from corruptio (Hosea 4:6).
UZAO GEN NEXT: A youth-led initiative promoting pro-family values, biblical principles, and integrity. These young champions drive societal change.
Both initiatives, rooted in Jesus Christ, unite generations to strengthen families, ensuring happier and healthier households while fulfilling the Great Commission.
